Rethinking our social benefits for the wellbeing of our employees
Last autumn, we conducted surveys, followed by discussion groups to review our social benefits. The goal was to get employee feedback on our current plans & what they value most in order to develop an offer that best benefits them.
Various subjects were discussed; such as our current insurance plan, the collective transport program, vacation weeks, 4-day work week, menstrual days, wellness programs, retirement savings, etc.
With all the comments we received, we decided to develop packages that allow flexibility & quality of life, with 4 to 5 days work week, a number of personal days, vacations weeks going from 4 to 6 weeks, and many more.
Effective since January 2023, this is our not limited list of new benefits:
- 4 or 5 day work week depending on the chosen package
- Vacations days going to up to 6 weeks
- Period off-days
- Group insurance plan including telemedicine (virtual care)
- Possibility of teleworking abroad
