Swing space
Swing space is a term used mainly in North America to describe a temporary space in which offices are set up to respond to a company’s specific needs.
It usually consists of planning and setting up furniture to create a functional workspace that a company can use to maintain its operations while renovating permanent space or looking for a new space to set up in. We are frequently asked to support this process while simultaneously developing a client’s permanent office. While a swing space is not typically meant to be used on the long term, it still needs to enable employees to work while also supporting the company culture. It’s therefore particularly important that the swing space be both functional and personalized to respond to the client’s specific needs.
