IIROC
The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) wanted to pay special attention to the design of its space and give a voice to its five main administrators in the development phase of the project.
The client’s daily operations required the application of a very high closed to open office ratio to preserve the confidentiality of the data handled by employees, a major constraint we had to consider when dealing with the interrelational dynamics between the teams while designing the space.
One of IIROC’s goals was to include nods to major world capitals in the office design to echo the work conducted by the company. This was done through the application of murals and the integration of decorative elements in the conference rooms and phone booths.
